Film editing is associated, among other functions, with the organisation of fragments of shots of images and sounds for the construction of an audiovisual work. Like the director, the editor becomes a storyteller by accepting an artistic idea, interpreting, decoding and seeking to express, with the necessary vitality of creativity, our ways of understanding the world, ideas and points of view. This is a sense-creating reason, influenced by the critical spirit of reflection of our everyday life. Being aware that the development of the world is based on the ability to understand oneself, the poetics of cinema is in the middle of it all.
