This report presents the main outcomes and reflections from the event organised by the EU-LAC Foundation on 5 December 2025 in Berlin, aimed at following up on the commitments adopted at the IV CELAC-EU Summit and exploring ways to translate them into concrete action.
The meeting brought together representatives from governments, European and Latin American institutions, as well as actors from the private sector, academia and civil society, with the purpose of strengthening bi-regional dialogue in a context marked by geopolitical tensions. Through several thematic panels, the event addressed key challenges and opportunities in areas such as economic innovation, climate action, the recognition of care work, the rule of law and international security, highlighting the importance of cooperation between both regions to advance towards sustainable, inclusive development based on shared values.
