The member universities of CSUCA decided to collaborate with each other to promote open science in the region. To this end, they have formed a working group with people designated by the vice-rectors of research of the CSUCA member universities to work as promoters and managers of open science in their institutions and in the region. Various alliances have been established, including LA Referencia, the FOSTER project in Europe, the RDA and others. At this stage, actions have focused on the exchange of experiences and good practices, training and the preparation of a draft regional declaration on the subject. The contribution made by Eloi Rodríguez of the FOSTER project through online training actions on open science stands out in this regard.
