Ernesto José Pinto Bazurco Barandiarán

Lawyer and Career Diplomat, Master in Diplomacy and International Relations; Master in European Law; and PhD in Political Science and International Relations.
Since 2006, he has held positions in Venezuela, the Swiss Confederation and Poland. Most recently, he has been Director of Drug Control at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru. At the same time, he has participated as Delegate and Representative of Peru and the Andean Community of Nations in numerous international meetings and conferences.
His publications include ‘Relaciones internacionales modernas’, co-authored with Ernesto Pinto Bazurco Rittler and José Félix Pinto Bazurco Barandiarán. Editorial Pressa Universitara Clujeana (2011); and the ‘Diccionario de Relaciones Internacionales (diplomático, jurídico y económico)’ of the Fondo Editorial de la Fundación de la Academia Diplomática del Perú. He has also served as Professor of the courses ‘Diplomacy and International Relations’ and ‘Latin American Diplomacy’ at the Centre for American Studies of the University of Warsaw (2017-2019).
