The EU-LAC Think Tanks Meeting is an event focused on analysing the current challenges facing multilateralism, international cooperation, and the rules-based global order, particularly in the context of evolving geopolitical tensions and weakened consensus on diplomacy, development, and human rights.
It aims to assess how the bi-regional relationship between Latin America & the Caribbean and Europe is adapting in this uncertain environment, especially after the 2023 EU-CELAC Summit and in preparation for the 2025 follow-up summit.
Organized by the EU-LAC Foundation and partner institutions, the 1.5-day gathering will bring together experts from both regions to evaluate the progress of past agreements, explore strategic alignments, and discuss the future of the bi-regional partnership amid shifting global dynamics.
