Dialogue Report Organised within the Framework of the Próximamente Festival

This report summarises the dialogue held during the event "Fostering EU–LAC Cooperation: Cultural Policies and the Role of (Artistic) Diasporas in Building Resilient, Inclusive, and Democratic Societies", organised by the EU–LAC Foundation and the KVS Royal Flemish Theatre as part of the Próximamente Festival on 22 November 2024. The event brought together cultural professionals, artists, and representatives from civil society organisations from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), as well as from the European Union (EU).

The thematic clusters included:

  • Migration, Diasporas, and Empowerment through Art

  • Cultural Policies for the Inclusion of Artistic Diasporas

  • The Role of the Arts in International Cooperation and Challenges in Artistic Mobility
