The Ibero-American System for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (SIACES) arises from the will expressed by the Ibero-American Heads of State and Government, in their Declaration of Guatemala in 2018, to promote quality assurance in higher education, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between the respective national systems of evaluation and accreditation of higher education.
