The recommendations here published, which forms part of the EU-LAC Foundation's series of analyses, recommendations and strategic contributions to enrich the bi-regional dialogue and the IV CELAC-EU Summit, are the result of discussions at the IV EU-LAC Forum of Journalists, entitled ‘The bi-regional context and the role of artificial intelligence in investigative journalism’, held in Bogotá, Colombia, from 25 to 27 July 2025, as part of the 13th Gabo Festival.
The event provided a space for critical reflection, technical learning, and the strengthening of alliances among journalists from two regions that, although geographically distant, face common challenges.
The recommendations were based on the report of the event, prepared by Francesc Badia i Dalmases.
