The search for similarity in accreditation processes and the diffuse consideration of what distance education is has led us to create the Kalos Virtual Iberoamerica (KVI) quality seal. It is positioned as the first and only Ibero-American quality seal, as a means of certifying the quality of degrees taught online. This initiative was born out of the collaboration with the Ibero-American Network for the Accreditation of Quality in Higher Education (RIACES) and the work of a working group of experts dedicated to the quality of Higher Education in the Ibero-American region. The result of these months of work has been an instrument that promotes the quality of distance learning degrees as well as trust among higher education institutions. The seal has its own evaluation procedure and criteria, which, in turn, combine the work of the Ibero-American quality agencies and are included in the Ibero-American Guide for the Evaluation of the Quality of Distance Education. In this way, the assimilation of processes allows all degrees to be evaluated according to the same indicators and standards.
