The "Drinking Water and Sanitation Project for the Metropolitan Area of Asunción: Lambaré Basin" seeks to facilitate access to drinking water and sanitation in small towns and rural and indigenous communities. The objective is to expand the coverage of sanitary sewerage services in the Lambaré watershed, reduce contamination, and increase the operational and financial efficiency of water management. This will benefit 450,000 people in the municipalities of Lambaré, Asunción, Fernando de la Mora and Villa Elisa.
