Since 1973, our monthly magazine Lateinamerika Nachrichten has existed as an independent, volunteer editorial collective in Berlin. "Donnerstags, 19 Uhr" is a film about generations of editors and the constant reinvention of LN.
About 50 years of political self-organization and international solidarity. About feminist revolutions in Latin America and within the editorial team. About typewriters and digitization. About precarious production conditions and love for print journalism. After the screening, two current editors will be present to converse with the audience.
