Mujer y Salud en Uruguay

Women and Health in Uruguay (Mujer y Salud en Uruguay- MYSU) is a non-governmental and feminist organization, which aims at promoting and defending women’s sexual and reproductive rights from a perspective of gender equity.
Its objectives are:
• Advocacy: elaboration of strategies for the promotion of human rights and mainstreaming gender equality in public policies and citizenship.
• Training: modalities of implementation of human and training aimed at health professionals and social sciences resources
• Research: Production and dissemination of studies on gender and health conducted by the National Observatory programme on gender and sexual and reproductive right
• Promotion: developing awareness activities and dissemination of knowledge, exercise and defense of sexual and reproductive rights aimed at organisations, groups and individuals
• Consulting and Technical assistance: provide advice to groups, social organisations, parliamentarians, public and private institutions at national and regional level
