Poetry has the power to give voice to what is often unseen. We invite poets, caregivers, activists, and community members from across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe to contribute to our Poetry for Care collection—an anthology centered on the deep, transformative power of care work in all its forms. Whether caring means raising children, supporting elders, healing communities, or sustaining life, we recognize care as essential, political, and profoundly human.
Selected poems will be featured in the Care Pavilion of the Global Alliance for Care in the context of the Sixteenth Session of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, and a broader digital collection will be published on the EU–LAC Foundation website.
