The Cervantes Institute and the Hamburg Literature House invite you to the presentation of Mexican author Cristina Rivera Garza, 2024 Pulitzer Prize winner, for her novel Liliana’s Invincible Summer, recently published in German. The event will feature journalist Constanza Álvarez Lutz as moderator and translator. The novel explores gender violence in Latin America through the author’s personal investigation of her sister’s femicide, combining testimonies, archives, and memories into a powerful tribute and example of feminist empowerment.
