Brussels will host the XII Ordinary Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EU-LAC International Foundation. As the first of two ordinary sessions scheduled for this year—according to the Foundation’s Agreement—this meeting holds particular significance for the bi-regional partnership. It will play a key role in shaping preparations for the upcoming CELAC-EU Summit, set to take place in Santa Marta, Colombia, on 9–10 November 2025.
During the session, the Board of Governors will review updates on internal guidelines implemented during the first year of the current leadership, assess contributions, and examine the progress of the Constitutive Agreement’s ratification. The meeting will also outline the Foundation’s strategic trajectory leading up to the CELAC-EU Summit.
To mark the organisation's XV Anniversary since its establishment, a commemorative reception will be held immediately following the Board meeting at the Hansa-Office.
