This publication offers a summary of the discussions held during the summer course at the Monastery of San Jerónimo de Yuste, in Extremadura, Spain.
The course provided a space for dialogue on key topics such as security, the triple transition, the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss, health, food security, and migration. Its aim was to address these global challenges through joint reflection and debate, as part of the preparatory process for the upcoming EU–CELAC Summit, scheduled to take place in Colombia in November 2025.
This course was made possible through the collaboration between the EU–LAC Foundation and the Yuste Foundation, the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the Euroamérica Foundation, the Organization of Ibero-American States, the University of Extremadura, and the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico.
