This symposium invites to debate the impact of a renewed global geopolitics on the way the environmental question is posed in Latin America today, through an examination of international governance instruments and promising new concepts.

On 21 and 22 May, the XIV Strategic Triangle Summit: Latin America and the Caribbean – Europe – Africa will take place in Lisbon. The event is co-sponsored by the EU-LAC Foundation and organised by the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL).

The EU-LAC Foundation, through the EU-LAC Women’s International Network (EU-LAC WIN), with the support of the Global Alliance for Care, launch a Digital Consultation on the Bi-Regional Care Pact between Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union.

On 30 April, the EU-LAC Foundation opens its doors to celebrate the Long Night of the Consulates. Our headquarters at ABC Strasse 2, 20354, Hamburg, will welcome the public from 18:00 and the activities will run until 22:00.

This discussion brings together experts on drug policy and drug trafficking in the Middle East, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and West Africa to analyse the characteristics, causes, and consequences of drug trafficking and drug policy across the globe.

Join us for an open and interactive moderated dialogue on the challenges and opportunities in financing gender equality and securing women’s rights in the current bi-regional context.

In the context of the event #CONEXIÓNVerde+, the EU-LAC Foundation and the AL-INVEST Verde Programme join forces to convene a dialogue table on sustainable growth and job creation, as well as public authorities from Latin America and Europe working on the transition towards more sustainable growth.

This event is designed to be part of the Programme of the “Próximamente Festival” and it is an exercise of co-creation by the EU-LAC Foundation, KVS and all participants as well as visitors of the festival.

On 19 November 2024, the XI Ordinary Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EU-LAC International Foundation will be held in Warsaw, Poland.
